Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Risk IT Business Analyst with strong expertise in Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and Business Analysis to support enterprise risk management and technology transformation initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of CCR methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and risk management processes, along with proven experience in translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, risk teams, technology teams, and project managers to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) solutions across enterprise risk platforms.
• Analyze and document business processes, functional specifications, data flows, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support implementation and validation of CCR methodologies including SA-CCR, Expected Exposure (EE), Expected Positive Exposure (EPE), Potential Future Exposure (PFE), and Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) .
• Work closely with Risk, Trading, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory compliance and successful project delivery.
• Support margining, collateral management, exposure calculations, and counterparty risk management processes.
• Participate in initiatives involving Counterparty Credit Risk agreements, legal documentation, novation, and lifecycle management .
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement walkthroughs, UAT support, defect triage, and solution validation.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements while supporting Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong domain expertise in Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and associated regulatory frameworks.
• Sound understanding of SA-CCR, EE, EPE, PFE, CVA , exposure measurement, and counterparty risk management concepts.
• Experience with margining, collateral management, counterparty agreements, and novation processes.
• Strong experience in business analysis, requirement elicitation, process modeling, data analysis, and functional documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project environments.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Capital Markets, Derivatives, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Trade Lifecycle, Regulatory Reporting, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Visio, and enterprise risk management platforms will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
