The Florida School of Professional Psychology (FSPP) at National Louis University seeks qualified professionals for the position of Adjunct Instructor in our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. The program is primarily interested in the following clinical psychology courses: Clinical Interviewing Cognitive Assessment Interventions I and II Psychopathology I and II Integrative Approaches to Therapy Projective Personality Assessment Objective Personality Assessment Diagnostic Practicum Seminar Intervention Practicum Seminar Advanced Practicum Seminar Research Methods Cognitive and Affective Processes WHO WE ARE The Florida School of Professional Psychology’s Doctor of Psychology (Psy‑D) in Clinical Psychology degree program is located in Tampa, FL and is the only APA‑accredited Psy‑D program in all of north and central Florida. Essential Responsibilities Collaborate to develop an effective student experience for students. Facilitate courses assigned by delivering instruction in blended and online environments. Maintain current and active knowledge in the expertise area that is reflected in instruction. Communicate professionally, relate well, and share a passion for college success for diverse learners. Participate in weekly meetings with faculty to report student progress and obstacles. Empower students to develop competency by sharing a passion for the subject and the skills. Promote student success by showing flexibility in delivery and work schedule to provide student support, and by exhibiting a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning process. Utilize technology‑based teaching platforms, including an adaptive engine to aid students in the development of competencies. Qualifications Education General Psychology, Non‑Clinical; General/Assessment/Interventions; Clinical/Consultation: Required doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) from an APA‑accredited program or equivalent. Professional Experience Experienced in General Clinical/Psychological Assessments/Interventions. Clinical/Consultation: Minimum of two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment. Teaching experience and/or specialized clinical and/or psychological assessments training preferred. Certifications/Licensure Clinical/Consultation: Licensed Psychologist or license eligible. Compensation and Benefits Adjunct Faculty are paid by course or assignment each term. Rates vary by college and number of credit hours for the course/assignment. Adjunct Faculty have access to training resources for professional development, access to shared governance through the Adjunct Council, retirement plans, educational opportunities, and paid time off. The 2025 Adjunct Faculty Rate Structure and further details are available upon contract.
