Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Northwell Health - Riverhead, New York

Overview Northwell Health’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our brand-new facility located in Riverhead, NY. Thanks to a generous grant from New York State, Northwell is expanding mental health services to children and adolescents on the East End of Long Island. The 12,000 square foot facility will house an outpatient clinic for children ages 5-21 and a partial hospitalization program for adolescents ages 13–17. We are recruiting a highly motivated practitioner with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. English/Spanish bilingual psychiatrist preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate would have a passion for leadership and innovation. Leadership opportunity is available for the qualified candidate. Responsibilities Provide clinical psychiatry services for children and adolescents in an outpatient setting and participate in a partial hospitalization program. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Demonstrate leadership and innovation in clinical practice as available. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BC/BE). English-speaking; Spanish bilingual is preferred but not required. A demonstrated interest in leadership and innovation is desirable.
