What You'll Do As a IT Applications & Data Architect you'll play a key role in defining and executing the technical vision for enterprise applications across the organization. Responsibilities include: Architecting and developing scalable, secure, and high‑performing business applications Partnering with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Leading application modernization and integration initiatives Establishing architecture standards, development best practices, and coding guidelines Guiding projects through the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot complex technical challenges Mentoring developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions that support business objectives Driving continuous improvement in application quality, security, and development processes What You'll Bring 6–10 years of experience in software development, application architecture, or related disciplines Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modern development practices Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating across cross‑functional teams Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Technical Experience Application Development C# Angular RESTful Web Services OData Storage Accounts Service Bus Data Technologies Microsoft SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and Query Optimization Database Performance Tuning Development Tools Visual Studio Git Automated Build and Deployment Processes Security & Identity Management Identity and Access Management (IAM) SAML OAuth Secure Development Practices Why Join Hillyard?
