If you have 1-2 years of experience and a steady work history come join the family regular home time, great pay and benefits Regional Dedicated Run: Lafayette GA to Commerce GA Dedicated Customer freight Drop & Hook both ends No touch freight 312 miles approximately round trip - 2 trips per day .53cpm - loaded and empty (must follow dispatch) Regular/frequent home time - home daily or every other day.must be willing to stay out two days Qualifications: 1-2 years of CDL experience Clean MVR Must pass a criminal background check Must pass a DOT Drug test Hold a valid CDL Valid Medical Card (DOT physical) Benefits and Pay: Medical, Dental and Vision eligible after 30 days with Blue Cross Blue Shield Company paid text care 401 (k) with company match percentage Long and short term disability Paid weekly (every Friday!) Compliance: Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Skills: Proficient in operating CMV equipment, pre and post-trip inspections, and Electronic Logging Devices (ELD). The Compensation Package Weekly Guarantee: $1,200 Minimum Guaranteed Pay (Must take all planned loads, have no lates, and be available for a 70-hour work week). Base Rate: .64 CPM (Average $1,470/week at 2,450 miles). High-Performance Bonus: Earn .69 CPM on all miles when you exceed 2,851 miles per week ($1,853+ weekly). Annual Potential: Top drivers earn $80,000 to $100,000 with mileage bonuses. About the Position The regional driver cdl a operates tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all dot regulations to transport product safely and legally from the distribution centers, and their vendor's to their final destination. This position may be assigned to business units that require white glove service that goes beyond standard shipping methods. Functions Operates tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all dot regulations to transport product safely and legally from the distribution centers to the vendor's destination. Operates the tractor/trailer to ensure that the product is delivered in a timely manner. Understands the utilization of secure devices and straps, and monitors freight for secure devices and straps to ensure products are delivered to their final destination undamaged and in their original condition. Required to follow company policy, participate in required trainings and keep truck clean. Maintains driver's daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required. Responsible for performing a full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer. Immediately reports all instances of damaged product to the transportation supervisor/manager. Provide white glove service at every delivery. Communicates any delivery issues up line to the transportation supervisor/manager Keeps equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements. Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment. Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists who share the highway. Conform to all dot and osha regulations and state laws. Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of tractor trailer class a driving experience Class a cdl required Meets fmcsa and company requirements Pass background and drug screening.
