Metrology Technician

ACES is seeking a full-time Metrology Technician who will perform calibrations and surveys on a wide range of temperature-controlled equipment/instruments. They must identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures daily and maintain calibration standards. Responsibilities / Daily Tasks Perform calibration on a wide range of temperature-controlled equipment/instruments Precisely follow ACES procedures and policies, industry standards, and manufacturers requirements for accurate calibration of instruments Complete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of instruments Manage time to achieve maximum efficiency Provide the best service possible to customers and fellow employees Be self-motivated and trainable Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Formal training in Metrology, pervious Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) preferred but not necessary as we will train Basic computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and database applications (data entry, not programming) Valid driver’s license with positive driving record Good communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent data collection and analysis skills Strong attention to detail Punctual and dependable Able to start early mornings as the day generally begins around 6AM A complete benefits package that includes paid holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, health savings and 401(k) retirement plan offered to ACES full time employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Control & Engineering Service
