Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Processors for an exciting 13-week contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. Position Details

• Job Title: Sr. Accounts Payable Processor
• Location: Houston, TX 77024
• Contract: 13 Weeks

What You'll Do

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Enter general account and invoice information into applicable systems.
• Review invoice matching and resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Research credits, past-due invoices, vendor statements, and payment issues.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to verify charges and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and follow issues through to resolution.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements, including researching invoices over 30 days old.
• Prepare and audit checks for distribution.
• Process voids, cancellations, and reissued checks or electronic payments.
• Audit and process employee expense reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide updates regarding outstanding invoices.
• Deliver professional, responsive customer service to internal and external customers.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of basic Accounts Payable principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, research, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze information, resolve discrepancies, and manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to use 10-key by touch.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach when working with vendors and internal teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• TB Skin test (or willing to get one)
• Flu Vaccine for current flu season (or willing to get one by 10/01/2026)

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
