Business Development Associate - Property & Casualty (radius Insurance Group)

Description As a Business Development Associate you will help grow and maintain our Insurance Agency. The role focuses on generating new business through leads from RFG’s lending operation, an existing database of previous borrowers, and direct cultivation of external contacts. Primary Duties Prepare for and pass the Massachusetts Property & Casualty Agent exams. Contribute to the success of the New Business Development Team by completing assigned workflow tasks. Learn all aspects of the Agency’s operations to build a solid foundation for career advancement. Serve as the Agency’s dedicated point of engagement for prospective customers and internal referrers throughout the new business process. Engage prospective customers, maintain proactive communication on proposal status, address questions, secure commitment, and close the sale. Perform preliminary underwriting/quoting as part of triage and gauge initial engagement for refinance loans. Partner with Underwriters and other staff to maximize conversion of leads. Excel at information gathering, task and notes management, follow‑up, and documentation. Pass along commercial leads from personal lines customers who own businesses. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to become a fully productive Property & Casualty Producer. Secondary Duties (as required) Solicit Homeowners and Auto new business from previous RFG borrowers (Legacy Leads). Perform administrative agency systems upkeep tasks. Impact Metrics Translate ITP leads and RFG referrals into active Homeowners quotes: minimum 100/month. Contribute to total Agency sales of at least 40 new business policies per week. Maintain consistent quote prep turnaround times to meet or exceed speed targets. Requirements Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments in a timely manner. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written). Ability to embrace change and work in a fast‑paced environment. Acquisition of a Massachusetts Personal Lines or Property & Casualty insurance license is required. Salary: $38,000–$45,000 per year plus commissions. #J-18808-Ljbffr radius financial group inc.
