Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,370–$2,492 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Start date: 08/10/2026 Unit setting: CVICU, 10-bed unit handling post-operative open-heart and cardiovascular critical care Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to post-operative CVICU patients, including those recovering from open-heart procedures Monitor hemodynamics, telemetry, ventilation support, and manage multiple IV lines, chest tubes, central lines, and A-lines interpret EKGs, assess for deterioration, and perform timely interventions within established protocols Collaborate with providers, charge nurse, ICU director, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient-family education Demonstrate clinical leadership; assist with precepting and mentoring junior staff; ensure compliance with unit policies and patient safety standards Requirements Active RN license in the State of Montana BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and a degree from an accredited nursing program Experience: Recent critical care experience; CVICU and open-heart/postoperative recovery experience preferred; open-heart recovery experience required Ability to work in a high-acuity CVICU environment and operate advanced medical equipment (lines, tubes, ventilators) and perform complex patient assessments Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing, onboarding, and orientation assistance Dedicated support throughout the assignment Travel coordination and assignment logistics Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
