If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!** **Work Schedule:**Monday – Friday, scheduled 8 hours vary between 7:00am-6:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm**Work Location: Schaumburg, Travel Required****Job Responsibilities:** · Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups. · Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.· Maintain patient and specimen information logs. · Provide superior customer service to all patients. · Clerical duties as necessary.· Travel to additional sites when needed.**Education*** High School graduate or equivalent required* National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred* Prior experience as a Phlebotomist *OR* an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.* Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
