Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM /n• Call every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend coverage (Saturday/Sunday/Monday) /n• Handle average of 6-8 OR cases per day /n• Patient to provider ratio of 1:1 /n• Case breakdown: 96% GI Endoscopy and EGD, 2-4 Orthopedic cases, 1-3 General Surgeries, 2-3 Podiatry cases, 2-3 OBGYN cases /n• Must have both OR Circulator and PACU experience /n• Must be able to perform C-sections /n• CERNER experience required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS /n• 2 years of experience required /n• Must have positive, can-do attitude and ability to stay late when needed /n• New Mexico state nursing license required /n• RTO required at time of submission /n• 2 references in specialty required /n/n Facility: /n This general hospital provides comprehensive surgical services with a focus on gastrointestinal procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and obstetric care.
