Responsibilities:

• Survey buildings and perform preventative, repairs, and inspections as assigned.
• Complete assigned maintenance work on vacant and make-ready apartment units (painting, etc.).
• Perform various maintenance functions including but not limited to: painting, caulking, HVAC repairs, lock repairs, window/door repairs, preventative maintenance, and changing light bulbs, filters, batteries, etc.
• Maintain common areas and building exterior and grounds as needed.
• Complete resident work orders in a timely fashion.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, etc.).
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies as needed.

Skills:

• At least 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of general maintenance processes - electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, painting, carpentry.
• Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs, climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and pushing.
• Emergencies happen - to ensure we are addressing these issues as soon as possible; our Maintenance Technicians must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• A car is a must.
• Multi locations - Hatboro, Perkasie and Chalfont.
