Cheese Filler OperatorThe Cheese Filler Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating filling equipment to package products according to company quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and adjust filling machines during production runsSet up equipment, perform changeovers, and complete line clearances as neededEnsure correct product, packaging materials, and labeling are used for each runInspect filled containers for quality assurance (weight, seal integrity, coding, etc.)Maintain accurate production records and downtime logsPerform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenanceFollow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediatelyWork collaboratively with team members to meet or exceed production targetsParticipate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in manufacturing or food/beverage production preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsMandatory overtime and weekends as neededWork Environment:Fast-paced, industrial production settingExposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and various temperaturesUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) is requiredPrairie Farms Dairy, Inc is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
