Information Technology Specialist (Cardiology IT)New York City, NY (Onsite)Full-Time Work Model: 100% Onsite (NYP locations) On-Call: Rotational (24/7 environment support)Work EnvironmentOnsite role supporting multiple hospital locations in NYC Fast-paced clinical IT / healthcare systems environment Supports Cardiology applications and imaging systems Works closely with clinical teams and IT stakeholders The IT Specialist supports and manages Cardiology IT systems and applications, ensuring system performance, reliability, and integration across clinical environments. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system implementation, and project support, ensuring seamless technology operations for patient care and business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Support & TroubleshootingProvide Tier 3 application support for Cardiology systems Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement corrective actions Monitor system performance and ensure uptimeApplication & Systems ManagementSupport Cardiology IT applications (e.g., imaging, diagnostics systems) Configure, install, and enhance system functionality Maintain system documentation and change management processesProject & Implementation SupportLead or support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and validate outcomes Coordinate with cross-functional teams during rolloutsIntegration & DevelopmentSupport interfaces and integration (HL7, DICOM, EMR systems like EPIC) Develop or modify scripts, interfaces, and workflows Ensure compatibility with enterprise systemsUser Support & TrainingProvide technical guidance and training to clinical end users Support adoption of new technologies and system updatesReporting & DocumentationMaintain project plans, documentation, and system logs Provide reports and updates to stakeholdersMust-Have QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3–5+ years of experience in Clinical IT / Healthcare IT Strong knowledge of: Operating systems (Windows, UNIX) Databases (Oracle, SQL) Programming (C++, Java, Python, etc.) Experience with:HL7, DICOM, EPIC or similar EMR systemsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Cardiology IT systems: Syngo Dynamics MUSE ISCV Cloud experience (AWS / Azure) Networking knowledge (TCP/IP) Experience with AI in healthcare or imaging Strong documentation and communication skillsCore SkillsClinical IT Systems & Applications Cardiology IT Support Troubleshooting & Incident Management HL7 / DICOM / EMR Integration System Implementation & Testing Cross-functional Collaboration Project & Change Management Veracity
