Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU, focusing on infants between 29-34 weeks gestation. Acts within a team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care for critical neonatal patients during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed clinical records in EPIC.
• Educate families on neonatal care, growth, and development needs.
• Float within scope to well-baby units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of NICU experience.
• Possess current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal assessment and intervention skills.
• Be able to work 12-hour night shifts with flexibility for on-call requirements.
• Meet all state licensure and compliance standards for neonatal nursing.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
