Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our logistics operations by assisting with various tasks related to distribution, and shipping/receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle logistics for sales and purchase orders (domestic, import and export shipments)
- Handle shipping and receiving activities, including inventory management and order processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address logistics-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by warehouse supervisor / manager.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school education or equivalent.
- Effective communication and writing skills (English)
- Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or related field.
- Candidate must have a valid driving license, passport or be illegible to obtain one.
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience utilizing online shipping tools such as UPS,FEDEX, DHL systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Solid PC skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook ) and logistics software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful and proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics best practices.
