The Opportunity

\n

\n

As a Financial Advisor at Sterling Legacy Advisors, you will serve as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and business owners, helping them make informed decisions across the full spectrum of their financial lives.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Developing and maintaining deep, long-term client relationships.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive financial reviews and identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial outcomes.
\n
• Developing and presenting sophisticated financial plans tailored to each client’s circumstances and objectives.
\n
• Providing guidance on investment management, retirement planning, wealth preservation, risk management, and other areas of financial planning.
\n
• Monitoring client portfolios and financial plans and making recommendations as circumstances, markets, and objectives change.
\n
• Working collaboratively with other members of the Sterling Legacy team to deliver a coordinated client experience.
\n
• Communicating complex financial concepts clearly and confidently to high-net-worth clients and families.
\n
• Maintaining thorough, accurate, and compliant client documentation.
\n
• Staying current on investment strategies, financial planning techniques, regulations, and industry developments.
\n
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm.

Who We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Must have appropriate securities licensing, including an active Series 7 and either Series 66 or Series 63 & 65.
\n
• 1-5+ years of experience as a financial advisor, wealth manager, financial planner, or related client-facing role.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
\n
• Strong knowledge of investments, portfolio construction, retirement planning, and comprehensive financial planning.
\n
• Must be willing and able to work 5 days a week out of our NYC office
\n
• Experience working with affluent or high-net-worth individuals and families is highly valued.
\n
• The ability to independently analyze complex financial situations and develop thoughtful recommendations.
\n
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
\n
• A high level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.

Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 annual base salary, plus commission and a discretionary bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
