The 99-bed department provides excellent support for both inpatient and outpatient services, including a dedicated burn and wound clinic that requires specialized plastic surgery expertise.

Job Details:
Locum to permanent position opportunity starting June 29, 2026
Handle 2-3 patient encounters per shift in a 99-bed department
Must be willing to cover outpatient burn and wound clinic 8 hours per week minimum
Board certification required with 60-day credentialing timeframe
General plastic surgery skills required with hand reconstruction experience
Preferred experience in facial surgery, breast surgery, oncologic breast surgery, and burn-related procedures
Hand/wrist surgery capabilities including tendon and nerve repair
Microsurgery and laser surgery experience preferred
Must hold Indiana medical license or be eligible for IMLC
Cranial surgery experience with synostosis cases preferred
Maxillofacial reconstructive surgery including cleft lip/palate procedures preferred
Experience with breast reconstruction, reduction mammoplasty, and augmentation procedures preferred
Abdominoplasty and genitourinary reconstructive surgery experience preferred

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
