About the Position

Job Title

SMH Level 2 RN – Pediatric Infusion

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | No weekends, no holidays, no on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide infusion and procedural care within a pediatric infusion center setting
• Administer chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, blood products, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy
• Manage and access implanted vascular access devices (IVADs) and ports
• Prioritize and coordinate patient care across a variety of pediatric specialty services
• Adapt to the changing needs and patient volume of the infusion center

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of pediatric nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) certification
• Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) certification
• Strong IV skills including experience with IVADs and ports

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a pediatric infusion or hematology/oncology setting
• Excellent prioritization and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to shifting patient care needs
