Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive critical care nursing services to patients in the intensive care unit. They are responsible for delivering safe, direct patient care and coordinating with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly to identify changes requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications, monitor hemodynamic parameters, and interpret diagnostic results.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure best practices.
• Maintain patient privacy and uphold confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid state RN license.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Have a minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care or critical care setting.
• Preferably hold a Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Be vaccinated or boosted for COVID-19, preferred.
