Cook Part-time
Location: Blackwell, OK
Summary: Interested in the food industry? Join our company as we continue to expand the food services aspect within our convenience stores to include restaurant style food and dining. We are searching for a reliable Cook to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighting and mixing ingredients
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Rotate stock
- Update temp logs for food, refrigeration and freezer
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Periodically run a cash register and take orders
Work Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Creative and skilled in food preparation
- Strong time management skills
- Physically capable of fulfilling all requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds
- Solid and consistent work history
- Excellent personal and professional references
Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must obtain/maintain alcohol license
- Previous cooking experience a plus
