Details Work in the LDRP unit of a teaching hospital with approximately 4,300 deliveries per year Unit includes Pod C (labor)-16 beds, Pod B (high risk)-11 beds, and Pod A (post-partum)-11 beds Care for laboring and high-risk patients, with access to a 3-room OR for cesarean sections Night shift schedule of 1900-0730, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hrs/week) Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday nights on NOC shift) One on-call shift required every 6 weeks in addition to regular schedule Requirements Active MA RN license required Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and CPR certifications required Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience preferred High-risk obstetric experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to laboring, high-risk, and post-partum patients Work alongside residents and attending physicians in an academic teaching hospital environment American Traveler Job ID P-757788.
