Physical Therapist

Provide specialized rehabilitation services to patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. Develop and implement personalized care plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Document all clinical interventions and patient progress accurately within electronic health records per compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers to coordinate care and discuss treatment plans.
• Support supervision of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Missouri State License as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Have at least 1 year of PT experience, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain adherence to APTA guidelines, state practice acts, and professional ethics.
