Nursery Associate

Nursery Department Position
We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, professional demeanor and a strong work ethic to join our Nursery Department. The right person needs to have experience with loading bulk material; horticulture background is preferred but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help customers load plants, bagged materials and bulk materials.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe shopping environment.
- Help unload plant trucks.
- Comply to all company policies and procedures.
Competencies:
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Ability to operate skid loader, wheel loader and fork truck.
- General plant knowledge.
Requirements:
- Customer service skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
