Details Hospital-based radiology department setting Works primarily in an Emergency Department environment handling trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion cases 4x10 hour night shifts; schedule to be finalized at interview No weekend or on-call requirements Uses GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners EMR: Epic Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in an ED, trauma, stroke, CTA, and perfusion setting ARRT and ARRT(CT) registry required Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required Missouri Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable BLS required Proficiency with GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners Ability to manipulate patient transfer equipment, lift and transport patients, and perform continual standing and walking Must be able to recognize emergency situations and adapt to a fast-paced work environment Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months Additional Information Performs CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, requiring independent judgment to obtain optimal image quality Responsible for anatomical positioning, selection and modification of technical factors, and ensuring patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort CTA and perfusion knowledge preferred Black scrubs required Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but are subject to a reduced bill rate Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID #P-725820.
