Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Plant Wansley) This full‑time role is part of a long‑term project with strong stability and growth opportunities. Today, Trans Ash provides innovative, environmentally responsible solutions for handling and storing fly ash. We build lined landfills, support daily plant operations, and help our energy partners maintain the highest standards of environmental safety. Compensation and Benefits Wage: $27.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience. Weekly pay. Vacation accrual starting day one. Comprehensive health insurance options. 401(k) with company match. Essential Functions Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills are required. Knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and AC systems. Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Read and understand repair, operator, and troubleshooting manuals and schematics. Must fabricate and weld. May perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience Must have 5+ years of experience. Certifications Heavy equipment certifications are a plus. Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to walk slopes and uneven terrain. Valid driver’s license. At least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a drug test, MVR check, and background check.
