Full Time Grocery Manager

Job Description Location: Cub Foods Eden Prairie Reports to: Assistant Store Director Classification: Union 663 Classified Assistant Rate of Pay: $32.33 per hour Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours Responsibilities Make lasting connections with customers Fill and rotate cases and displays (including some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.) while maintaining appropriate shrink Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full and product fresh Prioritize and establish work lists to maintain steady work for employees Ensure all grocery employees follow store standards Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team Train and develop future grocery managers Help maintain a clean and sanitary store Qualifications Friendly and outgoing, promoting customer service for the entire team 2-3 years experience in a grocery position (preferred) Knowledge of stocking, load cutting, and displaying cases PIT Certified Motivated to grow career and continue learning Benefits Health / Vision / Dental Insurance Paid Time Off Store Discount 401(k) Flexible Schedule Employee Assistance Programs Physical Requirements FREQUENT: 15% or more of the shift or at least ten repetitions per shift. OCCASIONAL: Less than 15% of the shift or fewer than ten repetitions per shift. Frequent physical lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing/pulling to 2000 force pounds, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning, walking. Occasional lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., equipment operation (calculator), squatting, stooping/bending. Frequent lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs., pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning.
