DPS - Museum Ops Support, Finance

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) The MOS – Finance will support the CFO and finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and cross-departmental projects in a fast-paced museum and event operations environment. This role offers direct exposure to executive-level financial decision-making at a unique nonprofit cultural institution. Key Responsibilities Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation across QuickBooks and Veevart Support yield optimization analysis for corporate events and rentals, including pricing and ancillary revenue Help prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings and executive presentations Track and analyze ticket and revenue data for museum attractions Assist with vendor and payroll coordination, including liaison support with external providers Support surplus asset sales tracking and reporting Participate in cross-departmental meetings, gathering and synthesizing input for finance leadership What You'll Gain Direct exposure to executive-level financial decision-making Hands-on experience in a unique nonprofit and cultural institution setting Mentorship from the CFO, COO and CEO This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position. The Delta Flight Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Rising Junior or Senior standing preferred Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic modeling) Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting/ERP software, a plus Familiarity with Salesforce-based platforms (e.g., Veevart), a plus Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable collaborating across departments and with external vendors and partners Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for presentation and report preparation Discretion in handling confidential financial information What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) N/A Benefits And Perks To Help You Keep Climbing Space Available Personal Travel to include eligible dependents.
