Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills - IV therapy skills - Experience with ventilated patients - Ability to titrate cardiac drips Description: Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel position. This is a night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend is required. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is preferred. Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response is essential. Candidates must be proficient in IV therapy and caring for ventilated patients. The ability to titrate cardiac drips is also necessary. Experience using the EPIC charting system is required. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in an ICU setting. The unit has a daily patient census of 16 with two patients per nurse ratio. Interdisciplinary collaboration is expected with various support services. Travelers must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to the start date. Candidates must be aware of fit testing requirements. Failure to comply with testing requirements may result in cancellation of the position. All clinicians cannot work as travelers past one year without a break.
