MRI Tech in Woodbridge, VA

Step into an essential diagnostic imaging role that makes a difference every night. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced MRI technologist skilled in advanced imaging and eager to contribute to a high-performing healthcare facility.
Schedule:
- 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, Monday through Friday (overnight shift)
- 13-week engagement
- Current ARRT (R)(MR) certification is required
- Minimum of 2 years' recent MRI technologist experience
- Ability to apply for and verify a valid Virginia state license (pending applications accepted if you follow the temporary licensing process)
- Experience operating Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T MRI systems
- Comfortable with EPIC electronic medical records: Radiology MT online module proficiency
- Willingness to wear grey scrubs as mandated by facility uniform policy
- Compliance with vaccine requirements, especially annual flu vaccination or an approved exemption (Oct 1-Mar 31)
- Perform high-quality MRI scans using state-of-the-art equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Accurately input patient data into the EPIC EMR system for radiology
- Collaborate effectively with night shift clinical teams
- Maintain clean, well-prepared work areas and readily available equipment
