As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of patients by providing skilled rehabilitation services in their place of residence.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive physical therapy modalities to clients
• Develop and restore function through rehabilitative physical therapy
• Work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Follow the Plan of Treatment prescribed by a physician
• Provide services in a home health setting

Required Skills:

• Current Georgia PTA licensure with no sanctions
• One year of previous PTA experience in a home health setting (Preferred)
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and occupational therapy
• Knowledge of treatment planning and manual therapy techniques
• Ability to develop care plans and provide interventions

Technical Skills:

• Skilled in activities of daily living and discharge planning
• Experience in outpatient and long-term care settings
• Knowledge of orthopedic, acute care, geriatrics, and pain management
