Laboratory Analyst I (Part-time) - Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast - Pensacola, FL Part-time. Compensation: up to USD 17 per hour. The Analyst will work approximately 28-30 hours per week, including about 4 hours each Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Monday–Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Responsibilities Demonstrates and promotes the company vision. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Applies GMP/GLP in all responsible areas. Performs routine lab tasks, including: Preparation of samples using standard techniques. Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques. Calculating and recording data. Reporting any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor. Performing routine instrument maintenance. Complies with Eurofins EHS and QA standards. Maintains general housekeeping in work area. Becomes trained and competent on complex instrumentation (gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP, instrument data systems). Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods. Aliquots and weighs samples, washes glassware, conducts activities safely and efficiently. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts. Ability to complete work within time and quality constraints. Can work independently following written or verbal instructions. Cooperative and coordinated in oral and written communication. Follows and learns appropriate protocols in one or more disciplines: Organic preparation. Metals preparation and analysis. Gas chromatography. GC/MS. Radio chemistry. Wet chemistry. High resolution preparation and analysis. Low resolution preparation and analysis. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1 year of college chemistry (preferred). Laboratory experience (preferred). Previous production-oriented work (helpful). Requirements Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
