Executive Recruiter

MissionHires is seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to lead high-touch, end-to-end searches for senior technology leaders. This role will partner with executive stakeholders to define hiring strategy, map talent markets, engage passive candidates, assess leadership capability, and negotiate complex offers. The ideal candidate brings deep executive-search expertise, strong technology-sector knowledge, and experience recruiting within financial services or another complex, regulated environment.

How You'll Contribute

• Lead end-to-end executive recruiting for senior-level roles while managing a focused portfolio of approximately 5–8 complex searches at a time.
• Partner directly with senior leaders and executives to define role requirements, success profiles, and search strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive market research, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence to identify target organizations, talent pools, and passive candidates.
• Use data, market intelligence, and research insights to shape sourcing strategies and advise leadership on talent availability, competitive positioning, and search feasibility.
• Develop and execute tailored candidate engagement strategies, including targeted outreach and long-term relationship building.
• Conduct in-depth candidate assessments across leadership capability, functional expertise, cultural alignment, and long-term potential.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders by providing market perspective, search updates, and informed recommendations throughout the hiring process.
• Lead offer strategy and negotiations, including complex executive compensation structures, incentives, and employment considerations.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Compensation, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant offers.
• Selectively engage and manage external search firms to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and alignment with internal search strategy.
• Deliver a confidential, high-touch, and professional candidate experience consistent with executive-search best practices.
• Track search effectiveness through reporting, insights, and post-search analysis.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, with significant experience leading executive searches within financial services or similarly complex, regulated organizations is required.
• Experience sourcing and recruiting Technology Executives, working knowledge of the technology landscape and ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior management and executive stakeholders on critical, high-impact hires
• Proven expertise in executive search methodologies, including market research, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence
• Strong experience structuring and negotiating complex compensation packages
• Exceptional consultation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with executive presence and credibility
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound judgment in sensitive, confidential situations
• Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple senior-level searches simultaneously
