Job Title EHS Manager Location Kingman, KS Start Date ASAP Duration Direct Hire Type Full-Time Compensation Rate: $70,000-$85,000 annually + up to 10% bonus Per Diem: None Available Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule Hours: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible schedule supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation Shift: Must be able to work across all 4 shifts as needed Project Scope The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at a manufacturing facility producing synthetic fiber products used in reinforced concrete and other industrial applications. This position serves as the primary safety leader on-site, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a safe working environment across all production areas. This is a highly visible, hand-on role focused on floor presence, employee engagement, and proactive hazard prevention. The successful candidate will spend significant time in the plant conducting inspections, observing work practices, coaching employees, and partnering with production leadership to strengthen the site's safety culture. The role requires collaboration with operators, supervisors, and management teams to drive continuous improvement, investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety programs and regulatory requirements. Qualifications 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Experience with machine guarding programs Understanding of PPE compliance and implementation Ability to support a 24/7 operation and rotate across shifts Strong communication and relationship-building skills Additional Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing production environment Comfortable conducting daily floor inspections and safety audits Strong incident investigation and problem-solving capabilities Ability to engage and influence hourly production employees Hands-on approach to safety leadership and training delivery Key Responsibilities Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments throughout the facility Lead and maintain LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE compliance programs Build positive working relationships with operators and production leadership> Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions Deliver safety training and coaching to employees across all shifts Monitor compliance with company safety standards and procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety Maintain safety documentation and regulatory records as required Skills Manufacturing Safety, LOTO, Machine Guarding, PPE Compliance, Incident Investigation, Hazard Identification, Employee Training, Safety Auditing, Root Cause Analysis, Safety Leadership, Communication, Continuous Improvement Knowledge Base Strong understanding of manufacturing safety programs with expertise in hazard recognition, behavioral safety, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, Lockout/Tagout procedures, machine guarding practices, PPE administration, safety training, and employee engagement.
