Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Falmouth, MA

Position Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Pay Rate: $65–$73/hour

Shift & Schedule:

• Night Shift

• 13-Week Contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to float to Med/Surg Tele units when operationally required.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

• Continuously assess and monitor critically ill patients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

• Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff when needed.

• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.

• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

• Float to Med/Surg Tele units based on operational needs and patient census.

Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN License

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Prior Critical Care/ICU experience required

• Current BLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Successful completion of facility-required Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN

• CCRN Certification

• TCAR Certification

• De-escalation Certification

• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
