Accounting Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in Lawrence, MA that is looking to hire an Accounting Specialist. This position will support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations with an emphasis on Accounts Payable. Responsibilities Maintain and verify accounting records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures Process and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable Review vendor invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to processing payment Assist with accounts payable voucher processing and expense coding Support account and inventory reconciliations as well as sales tax data tracking Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Approximately 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience working within an ERP system is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills The good faith compensation range for this role is $58,000 - $65,000 DOE.
