NOW HIRING: CLASS A JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS – IOWA!

PAY: $60–$65/HOUR
PER DIEM: $135/DAY

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Applicants MUST have a valid and current Iowa Class A Journeyman Electrician License.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Journeyman Electricians for commercial construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on commercial construction projects.
• Work with EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform wiring, grounding, and electrical panel installations.
• Test electrical systems and components for safety and compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with the NEC, local electrical codes, and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid and current Iowa Class A Journeyman Electrician License — REQUIRED
Minimum 7 years of commercial electrical experience
Extensive experience with conduit and electrical installations
Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Fire alarm system experience
• Lighting controls experience
• Emergency power systems experience
• Ability to operate power tools and electrical testing equipment
• Strong attention to detail
