Enterprise Market Development Representative

The Enterprise Market Development Representative (Enterprise MDR) will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. The Enterprise MDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and then leverages this information to align and sell Docusign's product offerings. This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone prospecting new clients. Enterprise MDRs will receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Enterprise MDR.

Responsibilities include:

• Making outbound calls to prospects who reside in one of Docusign's core vertical markets, offering tailored solutions to solve and improve business process problems
• Scheduling appointments between prospects and our Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise verticals
• Using CRM strategically to record information and identify further opportunities in your assigned territory
• Working closely with marketing to create email and LinkedIn campaigns to increase company and personal brand awareness

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic requirements include:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent sales related experience
• 1+ year of experience in a client or customer facing role

Preferred requirements include:

• Prior experience in the SaaS industry
• Driven, enthusiastic and hard-working nature
• Ability to form strong business relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $24.00/hour - $34.30/hour

This role is also eligible for the following:

• Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
