Road & Rail Services Position: Railcar Prepper Location: Stevenson, AL Position Summary: Join an award‑winning team in the logistics and rail services industry, where your work directly supports safe and efficient transportation across North America. As a Railcar Inspector/Prep associate, you will play a key role in ensuring railcars are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for transport. Areas of Responsibility: Follow all industry, customer, and company safety regulations and operating procedures at all times. Inspect, open, and close railcar end doors safely and accurately. Examine railcars for signs of damage, wear, or fatigue, ensuring they meet required standards. Identify any repairs that can be completed by Road & Rail Services personnel. Remove debris, dirt, and other contaminants from railcars using backpack blowers, scrapers, and additional equipment to prevent potential vehicle damage. Maintain responsibility for assigned tools and equipment, ensuring they are cleaned, stored, and in proper working condition. Perform routine housekeeping and site cleanliness tasks as directed by management. Support overall team operations by maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks.
