Senior Coronary District Manager - Great Lakes

Our partner is looking for a Senior Coronary District Manager - Great Lakes based in the United States. This role leads the commercial performance of a coronary portfolio across an assigned Great Lakes district. The Senior Coronary District Manager is responsible for achieving revenue and market share objectives through strategic planning, team leadership, and customer engagement. You will develop and execute business strategies while building a high-performing sales organization focused on customer needs and operational excellence. The position combines field leadership, coaching, account development, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration across the cardiovascular business. You will work closely with sales representatives, regional leaders, marketing teams, and healthcare customers to advance business objectives and support patient care. This is a remote field-based position requiring residence within the assigned territory and extensive travel by car and plane. The role offers an opportunity to lead experienced medical sales professionals while contributing to innovation and performance within cardiovascular healthcare. Accountabilities: - Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies designed to achieve district revenue, market share, and broader business objectives. - Conduct regular field visits, individual and group meetings, and customer interactions to support sales performance and team effectiveness. - Train, develop, coach, and motivate sales employees across areas including sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, territory management, competitive intelligence, and career development. - Coordinate sales activities and communicate corporate, divisional, regional, and district goals, priorities, and initiatives. - Establish performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

- Support employees with individual development plans and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and customer-focused quality. - Manage district assets, including budgets, forecasts, inventory, and expenses, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively. - Negotiate and resolve pricing and contract issues in collaboration with sales representatives, accounts, regional leadership, and other internal stakeholders. - Coordinate with sales representatives and leaders across other product lines to maximize broader business results and collaboration. - Develop and maintain ethical, long-term customer relationships while representing district leadership to healthcare customers. - Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates to maintain a strong talent pipeline and support workplace diversity objectives. - Provide relevant market and customer intelligence to sales and marketing leadership to inform business and commercial strategies. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of medical sales experience, including 2 years of sales leadership experience; or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of medical sales experience and 2 years of sales leadership experience. - Demonstrated success in medical sales, preferably involving pacing or stent products. - Experience managing sales teams and personnel, including coaching, performance management, development planning, and recruitment. - Knowledge of the pacing or interventional cardiology customer base is preferred. - Additional experience in marketing, sales training, technical services, or related areas is advantageous. - Strong strategic planning, business management, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities. - Ability to lead and motivate teams while maintaining a customer-focused and results-oriented approach.
