About the Position

Job Title: RN - Orthopedic Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: Seasonal - Travel Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS preferred, ACLS nice to have Description: Provide nursing care to orthopedic surgery patients. Work with a team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. Manage patient care with a focus on safety and quality. Monitor and assess patients' conditions pre and post-surgery. Assist with total joint surgeries such as knee, hip, and shoulder procedures. Utilize immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment equipment. Document patient care and interventions using electronic medical records. Engage in teamwork and maintain high employee engagement. Exhibit excellent communication and empathetic patient care.
