About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Business and Industry, a role that is pivotal in leading and advancing the academic and research goals of the institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of the College, ensuring program compliance with state and national accreditation guidelines, and fostering interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaborations both within the College and with the broader community. The Dean will also be tasked with overseeing a diverse team of university administrators, faculty, staff, and key stakeholders to implement and advance the College's academic and research initiatives. This is a key leadership position that requires a dynamic and experienced individual to drive the College's mission and vision forward. The ideal candidate for the Dean position at the company should have a strong academic background, with an earned terminal degree in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of 5 years' of experience in a senior academic administrative role, such as Dean, Associate Dean, or Department Head, with a focus on supervising faculty in business or engineering. Experience with programmatic accreditation, including AACSB or ABET, is essential. The role demands a leader who can work effectively with a diverse team and is committed to the values of academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. The Dean will also be expected to have a history of successful collaboration and to be adept at managing the various responsibilities that come with leading a College of Business and Industry.
