Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced MedSurg/Acute Care unit. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with post-surgical care and pain management, including CIWA patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess and implement patient care strategies.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, PCTs, and sitters as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience in MedSurg or acute care settings is required.
• Previous experience with HCA preferred.
