BILLING SPECIALIST

PAY:
$18.50–$21.00/hour

SCHEDULE:
• Monday–Friday
• 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts
• One Saturday per month
• Full-time

JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their long-term care pharmacy team.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adaptable professional who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent service to our clients and patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage
• Process updates to resident profiles accurately
• Admit new residents to the appropriate nursing facilities
• Research and resolve client billing issues
• Maintain accurate billing information
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate and timely billing

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma/GED required
• College degree preferred
• Previous medical billing experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent customer service and phone skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Adaptable and willing to learn
• Dependable and punctual
