The hospital features around-the-clock pediatric and adult emergency room care and is home to the Virginia Institute of Robotic Surgery Center, The Heart Center at Henrico Doctors', Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, Primary Stroke Center, Women's Hospital, and the Virginia Transplant Center, which specializes in kidney transplants.

The local practice also provides coverage to Retreat Doctors' Hospital, Parham Doctors' Hospital, and five ambulatory surgical centers.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
