Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This position involves working in a Neuro Interventional Radiology Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The candidate must possess neuro interventional experience, including procedures such as Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting.

Schedule

Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Varied Shifts: Starting from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
On Call: After 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by a rotating call system among 6 to 8 staff members
Contract Duration: 13 to 26 weeks

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role
Previous Charge Experience: Not applicable
Charting System Experience: Preferred experience with Epic
Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI*, BLS, State Radiography License

Unit Details

Daily Patient Census: Between 15 to 20 cases
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Unit Information: Interdisciplinary support available, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more
Special Procedures: Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 1 Trauma

Additional Information

The facility values teamwork and collaboration, striving to maintain an environment conducive to patient care. Staff may be required to float to other units as needed, ensuring that patient needs are met effectively.

Travelers are expected to have a minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system. Upon assignment, completion of required compliance and pre-assignment modules is expected, along with attendance at orientation sessions.
