Job Summary As a Clinical Professional Development Educator, you’ll play a vital role in advancing the growth, confidence, and clinical excellence of our nursing, interprofessional, and non‑licensed clinical teams. You’ll design and deliver evidence‑based education that equips caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide safe, high‑quality, and compassionate care—creating a culture of continuous learning that improves more lives in more ways. The position is for a PRN Registered Nurse Healthy Arrivals at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities The PRN Nurse Educator functions as an educational and clinical resource for program clientele and the community. Educational services include the implementation and instruction of established curriculum designed to meet the needs of the identified service population. The educator will function as a liaison to facilitate women’s health, care for clients, patients and their families, and/or participants of health issues related to women. Demonstrates knowledge and practical application of the theories and principles of adult education. Demonstrates professional growth, initiative and creativity. Able to troubleshoot and problem‑solve IT and audiovisual issues independently. Qualifications Must be a graduate of a nursing program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license. Professional certification in the area of specialty preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in OB/GYN or women’s health care. Experience with group dynamics, public speaking and/or public relations preferred; experience working with IT, audiovisual and digital media preferred.
