Manufacturing Engineering Professional

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to support machine maintenance operations from a technical and strategic standpoint. This role does not involve hands-on machine rework. Instead, the candidate will focus on developing and optimizing the Spare Parts strategy, improving procurement efficiency, and supporting maintenance teams through data-driven engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Spare Parts strategy for production machines and equipment.
• Perform deep dives of machine components (ie: pumps, motors, drives, valves, seals, cutting tools) to identify OEM Mfg Part numbers
• Identify and qualify reliable suppliers and sourcing options for critical spare parts.
• Analyze existing procurement processes and work with Supply Chain teams to reduce lead times and prevent downtime.
• Support maintenance teams with technical evaluation, documentation, and engineering insights.
• Review machine BOMs, maintenance manuals, and historical failure data to determine critical spares and stocking levels.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment on spare parts requirements and machine reliability goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance processes, and spare parts management.
• Experience with procurement or supplier coordination is an advantage.
• Fluent in Microsoft Tools: Excel and PowerPoint (data analysis, reporting, presentations).
• Perform data analytics on part consumption + part availability + cost to establish strategic order quantities and recommend on-hand quantities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
