Love hospitality, enjoy teaching, and feel at home in every corner of a restaurant? The Tides Seafood Market & Provisions is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead its team on historic Main Street in Safety Harbor.

The Tides is a seafood market, specialty provisions shop, and restaurant under one roof. It’s owner-operated, built on freshness and local sourcing, and has grown into one of Tampa Bay’s favorite seafood destinations. Guests come for great seafood and stay for the warm, neighborly experience, often browsing the market with a glass of wine while they wait for a table. This is a place where hospitality is the whole point.

This role leans front of house, but the ideal candidate is well-rounded and just as comfortable stepping into the kitchen when the moment calls for it.

What You’ll Do

• Lead front-of-house shifts and deliver a warm, memorable guest experience in both the dining room and the market
  
• Train, coach, and develop team members, setting the standard for service, product knowledge, and hospitality
  
• Jump in wherever the business needs you, whether that’s the floor, the market counter, expo, or the kitchen line
  
• Support the General Manager and owners with scheduling, labor, inventory, and daily operations
  
• Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards across the restaurant and market
  
• Help team members and guests learn about the fresh seafood, local products, and provisions that make The Tides special
  
• Handle guest concerns with grace and turn every interaction into a reason to come back
  

What You Bring

• Restaurant management or supervisory experience, with a strong front-of-house background
  
• Well-rounded operator: comfortable working in and supporting the kitchen, not just the floor
  
• A genuine love of training: you get energy from teaching others and watching them grow
  
• A passion for hospitality: you take pride in making every guest feel welcome
  
• Seafood, scratch kitchen, or specialty market experience is a plus
  
• Strong communication skills and a calm, positive presence during busy shifts
  
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
  
• ServSafe certification, or the ability to obtain it
