Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Description: The Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The therapist will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients across various units, including critical care settings.

Responsibilities:

• Administer aerosol treatments and manage Bipap and ventilator therapy.
• Perform advanced respiratory procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assistance.
• Conduct daily patient assessments and participate in interdisciplinary team rounds.
• Utilize advanced respiratory care technologies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document care provided using the Meditech system as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Experience in critical care and emergency care settings preferred.
